Dolls
House Kits by Sid Cooke . . . . . . . All You Need To Know
There are a number of advantages to starting your project
with a Dolls House Kit.
You will be able to wire and decorate your Dolls House Kits
as the build proceeds and make other design adjustments to make your Dolls
House unique and special.
You may find the prospect of building a Dolls
House Kit daunting but with care and patience plus a small amount of practical
ability excellent results and a high level of finish will be achieved.
If you are limited for space or a workbench don't worry, you can assemble
Sid Cooke Dolls House Kits on the kitchen table using the minimum of tools.
A tube of PVA wood glue is supplied with the kit, and some veneer
pins.
We do make kits that can be assembled with no tools at all but our
most complicated kits require only a small cross head screw driver, a
small flat screw driver and a light weight pin hammer.
Sandpaper is supplied
with all of our plywood Dolls House Kits.
We recognise that, like everything else, assembling a Dolls House Kit
becomes easier with practice and maybe you only ever plan to build one,
so we try to design our kits with this in mind.
Our Dolls House Kits instructions describe each stage of the build process
and give tips on how best to achieve a professional looking build quality.
The panels of a Sid Cooke Dolls House Kit are precision cut and
assemble with accuracy.
The quality of the joints ensures the highest
level of build strength for enjoyment and durability of the finished model.
All our Dolls House Kits have added architectural features such as window
sills and corbels, which are made from hardwood mouldings or uniquely
machined for us in large section MDF.
Our Premier ranges of Dolls House
Kits have a Birch Plywood Carcase, which, apart from being the traditional
material of choice makes the finished Doll House very robust.
Sid Cooke Dolls House Kits can be assembled for around half to two thirds
of the cost of the same model ready made.
